At The Housing Executive, we have focused on management and consultancy roles within the housing sector since 2002. We believe, with a passion, that a personal approach and in-depth registration process, spending time interviewing our candidates face to face, really helps to match the right person to the job.

Who We Are
The Housing Executive is an entirely independent organisation. We have a background in housing recruitment at director level and have worked with the sector for more than 30 years. Our expansion has been gradual, ensuring we maintain standards and priding ourselves on generating repeat business through good service. Clients and candidates often recommend us to others as we build relations for the long term. We are based in London but cover the whole of the UK and Ireland.
What We Do
We offer a high quality, personal service delivered by the directors, giving you consistency of recruitment contacts and 30 years of housing sector experience to understand your specific vacancies. We meet the need for a recruitment consultancy dedicated to managers and executives and recruit on an interim, permanent and consultancy basis: recruiting managers, directors and consultants within the housing sector (including property, investment and development).
How We Can Help
We act as ambassadors for organisations, adding value and providing a high level of customer service to candidates responding to your vacancy. We believe in broadening the level of interest in a role, reaching beyond selection based on advertising alone, utilising our established network throughout the sector and contacts on social media. We take a very flexible approach, offering a range of services including; temporary and permanent recruitment, temp-to-perm, interim and consultancy.

How do we resource candidates?
Over the last 30 years, we have built up a network of experienced and skilled housing professionals. Many of our candidates come recommended by key people in the sector. We regularly advertise with The Guardian and industry specific publications/websites. Our knowledge of the sector assists us in making targeted approaches on behalf of clients, including the use of social media, such as LinkedIn.
Who will be doing the recruitment?
We work on a collective basis, so you will always be able to speak to someone who knows what’s happening. The directors handle all aspects of the recruitment process – from meeting client and taking briefs to sourcing and interviewing suitable applicants.
What happens when I submit my CV for a role?
We’ll promptly acknowledge receipt, keep you informed of progress and update you as soon as we hear from our client.
